Are you repurposing your content? In other words, you make the most of your content?
Not sure?
Let’s talk about content repurposing.
Repurposing your content is an amazing strategy that you need to start doing now if you haven’t already!
Because one, you’re spending so much time creating content you want to make sure you’re getting the most use out of it. Repurposing your content can help increase your reach and engagement while also saving time!
Two, it helps you to speak to as many people in your ideal audience as you can.
And three, it saves time!
Content repurposing is taking one piece of content that you’ve already created and modifying it to use for a different platform or in a different format. Such as turning a video into a blog post and/or creating social media posts from a video or blog post.
You’ll want to think about which platforms you want to be on. Where your ideal clients are, which platforms make sense for the type of content you have, etc.
Let me break it down for you.
Tip #1: Include call to actions! What do you want your audience to do on your content?
Tip #2: Keep track of your topics and your status on each piece.
Use a calendar and spreadsheet such as Airtable, or use your project management software such as ClickUp or Asana. My favorite is ClickUp!
You’ll want a calendar to know what, when, and where everything is going out. Plus with using a tool such as ClickUp or Airtable, you’ll be able to have the copy for each piece, images/graphics/video, and status on the post such as if the copy is ready or not, if the post is scheduled, etc.
